This magnificent original Period George II Children's Commode Rocking armchair is totally original and is of a truly outstanding rich Oak patination and colouration.

The piece has a beautiful scrolled rear back & a gorgeous pierced love heart to the rear back panel, which rises above the commode lid which retains the original Iron cast hinge, revealing once opened a circular recess area for the child's toilet bowl.

Dating to Circa 1760, this marvelous piece is in splendid original condition with just the normal minimal aged wood splits which is in perfect keeping for such a piece with over 230 years of age.

This is a brilliant investment piece and will guarantee to be the main talking point of any room in which you choose to place it.
